What information is being collected about me, and how will it be used?
Generally, you can visit the site without telling us who you are or disclosing any information about yourself. You decide when to share your personal information with us while on the site. For example, if you make a donation, correspond with us by email, or submit a form, you are sharing personal information about yourself with us. Your information is accessible only to our employees, volunteers and business partners who need to access it to respond to your inquiries or provide you with these services.
Our web server does not collect non-personal information (for example, IP addresses and referrers). An IP Address is a number given to a visitor by an in Internet Service Provider. Examples of information provided by an IP address include service provider, type of browser and type of system used. Since we do not collect this type of non-personal visitor information, we do not collect information regarding your number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed, etc. Though we do not monitor individual site usage, we use analytics software to collect aggregate usage statistics to help us improve our site.
Specific information we collect, and how we use it:
If you sign up to receive the e-newsletter:
We will collect your email address, which will be used to deliver the e-newsletter and occasional mailings with information on upcoming events, opportunities for involvement, and updates to the website.
If you choose to provide your name, mailing address, and phone number, we will also send you the print newsletter and printed information about opportunities for involvement. We may also call you if we need to update your contact information.

If you wish to make a donation but would prefer not to receive emailings or print mailings, please contact us at 281-351-4976 or email@example.com.
Your credit card information will be securely processed through an outside vendor, currently GiveDirect, and will not be stored by Boys and Girls Country (for online donations only. Please note that credit card information for donations made by phone, mail, or in person will be stored in our secure database.)
