Join Us At The 2018 Heritage Award Dinner!

On Thursday, November 8, Boys and Girls Country celebrates our 27th annual Heritage Award Dinner at the Hilton Americas! Kim and Robert Marling have been chosen as our distinguished honorees because of their generous and far-reaching support, not only for Boys and Girls Country but also for the Houston community. The evening’s guests will have the pleasure of hearing from our kids firsthand about how Boys and Girls Country has impacted their lives and will be entertained by none other than legendary comedian Jay Leno. Please join us in investing in the lives of the children and young adults who depend on Boys and Girls Country for hope and a future.  Cottage level sponsors have a special opportunity to sponsor a Cottage family for a full year!  These $50,000 tables include a meet and greet with our kids and Teaching Parents and updates throughout the year from your Cottage family!  Other sponsorship levels range from $5,000 to $25,000. We hope to see you there!

Meet the Honorees

Boys and Girls Country is very pleased to have Kim and Robert Marling as our honorees for the 2018 Heritage Award Dinner. Robert is the Chairman and CEO of Woodforest Financial Group, Inc., a community bank with a corporate culture of community service and giving back. In 2005, the Woodforest Charitable Foundation was created with an initial gift of $1,000,000 from Woodforest National Bank.  Kim became the first Executive Director of the foundation and continues to oversee its growth and donations today as its Executive Vice President. Both Woodforest National Bank and Woodforest Charitable Foundation have been steadfastly committed to providing funding for Boys and Girls Country. The Marlings’ achievements, both professionally and in their personal lives, have made a tremendous impact on the lives of so many in the Greater Houston community, across the country and for the kids of Boys and Girls Country.
