From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making Spring Festival a success! Despite the weather forecasts, the event gathered hundreds of people under sunny skies to enjoy live country music, award-winning barbecue, rides and games. Josh Grider came back as a music headliner this year to the enjoyment of festival goers. Many thanks to John Herr Foundation for being a Title Sponsor and to everyone who helped us raise funds to provide a loving, Christian home for kids who come from families in crisis.

The event was chaired by Ryan Rodgers and co-chaired by Scott Galloway, BGC board directors.

“This event is a second-largest fundraiser that supports our children. We are amazed at the generosity of our sponsors, donors and volunteers who are committed to making Spring Festival a success in any weather. Your gifts change lives,” shared Vincent Duran, Executive Director of Boys and Girls Country.

Spring Festival began four decades ago as a picnic hosted by the Boys and Girls Country Women’s Auxiliary and has grown to an event which brings more than 3,000 people out to the campus in Hockley.  This event is followed by the Heritage Awards Dinner on October 30 which serves as a major fundraising event for the organization and features entertainment this year from Jeff Foxworthy.
