What information is being collected about me, and how will it be used?
Generally, you can visit the site without telling us who you are or disclosing any information about yourself. You decide when to share your personal information with us while on the site. For example, if you make a donation, correspond with us by email, or submit a form, you are sharing personal information about yourself with us. Your information is accessible only to our employees, volunteers and business partners who need to access it to respond to your inquiries or provide you with these services.
Our web server does not collect non-personal information (for example, IP addresses and referrers). An IP Address is a number given to a visitor by an in Internet Service Provider. Examples of information provided by an IP address include service provider, type of browser and type of system used. Since we do not collect this type of non-personal visitor information, we do not collect information regarding your number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed, etc. Though we do not monitor individual site usage, we use analytics software to collect aggregate usage statistics to help us improve our site.

How will you share my information outside of Boys and Girls Country?
At no time will Boys and Girls Country sell or trade its mailing list, database, or personal donor or volunteer information to any other entity. This information is strictly the property of Boys and Girls Country and is held in trust to protect the confidentiality of all donors.
We will not share individually-identifying personal information about you with third parties without your permission, with the exception of service providers or other organizations we contract with to fulfill services on our behalf (e.g. delivering email or mail, executing credit card transactions) or as required by law.
In the event that financial information, including donor information, is released outside of our control, by other organizations, such as www.guidestar.org, Boys and Girls Country makes every attempt to ensure that donor information is protected.
What security measures are in place to protect my personal information?
All online donation transactions are protected by the GiveDirect secure sockets layer (SSL) certificate. Donor information is maintained in a password protected database on site. We employ standard security permissions for database access.
