09/02/11 We thank our volunteers!

We are blessed with an amazing network of dedicated volunteers who help us in every area of campus. They paint and deep clean cottages, sponsor birthdays and Christmas, teach music and martial arts, help in the Clothing Closet or Commissary, host special events full of fun activities for our children, and so much more. On Tuesday night, we held our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to say, "Thank you for sharing your gifts with us!" 

 Instructors from Cypress TaeKwon-Do have partnered with us since last year to teach our kids martial arts!

 This wonderful group of ladies from Montgomery County are always willing to lend a helping hand when we have a big mailing.  We couldn't send our invitations to the Heritage Award Dinner without their help stuffing, sealing, and stamping more than 3,000 envelopes!

The Northwest Women's Club has sponsored Cottage 10 for several years, throwing birthday parties for our little girls and helping make their Christmas wishes come true!

Charles Barnes, pictured here with his wife, teaches guitar lessons to some of our boys and girls.  One of his pupils, Billy, played guitar and sang at our summer talent show...and won first place!

Mr. George with June Hinkle, whose glowing smile brings happiness to Spring Festival every year as our favorite clown!

"Grandma Gloria" loves our kids, and helps us celebrate birthdays all year long!
