11/18/2011 Thanks 'N Giving

Last night, we held our annual Thanks 'N Giving celebration.  It's one of our favorite campus events because we gather together as a big campus family, eat good food, laugh, talk, and just enjoy being together.  We call it Thanks 'N Giving because we give thanks for all that we have been blessed with and we also remember the importance of giving back.  Each cottage family does community service projects throughout the year and at Thanks 'N Giving, they share photographs and stories of how they served our community.  We hope you enjoy these photos from this year's celebration!

A big thanks goes out to Bubba, who cooks wonderful smoked turkeys for us every year; our friends from Jersey Village Baptist Church, who helped us get the food ready and set up the dining room; and our Cypress Belles friends for service with a smile, amazing homemade pies and brownies, treat bags for our kids, and the quickest clean-up crew in town!

From our big Boys and Girls Country family -- all of our kids, our staff, and our grown kids -- we wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!
