07/24/10 Alumni Homecoming

At our annual Alumni Homecoming, we welcomed home former residents and staff from across the decades, from our first girl at Girls Country to our most recent graduates!  We shared memories, took tours of the campus (on foot and by hayride!), cooled off in The Backyard Pool, and enjoyed a longstanding tradition:  the Alumni vs. Residents Basketball Game!  (This year, the residents broke a longstanding alumni winning streak, with a score of 49 to 41!  Go, home team!)

Thanks to everyone who came out for the day to celebrate our shared history!  Special thanks to our friends in the Grey Street bible study group at Second Baptist, who donated and served up hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken for lunch!
