06/16/10 Happy Father's Day!

Father's Day is here...and we salute dads everywhere!  Levi, one of our recent graduates in the Class of 2010, told us about his father figure Mr. Chris, a housedad who helped raise him into the amazing young man he is today.

 Fathers Day (1)    

"I remember when I wanted to run away from everything. I only got to the fence at the edge of campus. I stayed there and cried. I don't remember what made me mad...but I remember who made me happy -- Mr. Chris. He always had the right words... and still does.

Thanks for having my back, sir. I have never forgotten the wisdom you have instilled in me. And for that I claim you as my mentor and my father."
